To offer hope, knowledge, and support to cancer patients, their families, caregivers, and friends by providing a source of information, social supports, and compassion through all stages of the cancer journey.

Many of these grants were to reimburse people for some of the costs they incurred traveling the long distances required to get their cancer treatments.
