BBLA sponsors quarterly facilitated discussions, engaging expert panelists to provide information on critical community issues. Topics include mental health, public health vaccinations (COVID-19/mpox), voting rights, and family-related social services. These forums provide a space for individuals to share common experiences, reinforcing a sense of community while addressing health and whole-person care. In 2024, BBLA also launched the '2 Shots 1 Love' public awareness campaign. This campaign promoted mpox vaccination to the community through a targeted media strategy that included billboards and social media platforms.
