The corporation shall not be conducted for profit. Its exclusive charitable object and purposes are the receiving and maintaining of a fund or funds; and applying the income and/or principal thereof to promote the general welfare of individuals who collect welfare benefits, homeless individuals and individuals whose income level is below the minimum amount stated in this corporation's bylaws. These individuals must have demonstrated an interest in becoming entrepreneurs with the goal of starting their own business. The beneficiaries will have the option of either working in bettina homes, at pay rates stated in the bylaws, with the goal of learning how to operate a business; or, those who show a demonstrated interest of pursuing higher education or building a career by initially working at a low paying job, but has the opportunity for advancement, shall reside in the house rent free.
