Programs
1 program
Community Based Program: During the course of the 2023/2024 fiscal year, 178 children were matched with a caring adult volunteer from the community for professionally managed, one-to-one, community based mentoring. The mentoring occurred an average of 4-7 hours monthly via various virtual platforms and in-person at varying locations around and within the communities of Northeast Florida. In addition to individual outings, the mentoring matches were also provided with enrichment opportunities of educational, recreational, and service orientations on a monthly basis and benefited from various agency programs and support efforts to enhance participant engagement and promote participant satisfaction and thus retention rate in the subsequent FY. Reports indicate advances were made by the majority of students engaged in the program as they pertain to academic, behavior and social successes.
