Bike New York partnered with Bloomberg Charities, and Citi Foundation to purchase and assemble more than 2,000 bikes in 2021. Bike New York planned the bike build and distribution logistics. Bikes were distributed to youth in New York City who had participated in Bike New York summer and after school programs and youth in YMCA programs.
