The Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center connects people of all ages and abilities with visual arts education, exhibitions, and other creative experiences.

Programs

2 programs

Exhibitions - Five distinct gallery spaces showcase exhibits (15-20 each year) that are free and open to the public. Exhibiting artists (from throughout the U.S.) range from master-level to emerging; media includes painting, sculpture, fiber, and more. One gallery is dedicated primarily to adult student work and another features youth students and ArtAccess participants. Exhibits are integral to year-round visual arts programming, significant to student education, and an important means of supporting established and emerging artists.

Expenses: $309K

Outreach - BBAC ArtAccess programs serve marginalized youth, senior citizens, caregivers, individuals throughout the region with dementia, and individuals with physical and cognitive challenges. The programs are taught by professional artists and educators, and incorporate the same quality and integrity of BBAC educational programming.
