The Mission of Birmingham Cross Cultural Connections is to alleviate the burdens on immigrant and refugee families entering the city of Birmingham through resources training assistance opportunities and relationships that encourage self-sufficiency and promote holistic wellness.
Programs

Long-term development program to move people living at or below the poverty level to self-sufficiency through resources case management and social capital. This is a three to five year program.
Free ESL Classes provided at six different locations through partnerships with local churches and businesses.
Topical 1x classes to support ongoing education in soft and hard skills - including but not limited to parenting tax preparation immigration laws etc.
Free financial & budgeting classes for refugees and immigrants in Birmingham.
0A two-part class to help refugees and other immigrants understand the american workforce how to apply for jobs and how to fill out the appropriate work authorization paperwork.
