The black coalition against covid (bcac) consists of two interrelated initiatives in service to our mission of providing trustworthy, reliable, and relatable information to minority communities on all aspects of the covid pandemic and to support the provision of direct services in the washington, d.c. Region and nationally.

General programs- the organization's primary activities are focused on charitable and educational efforts to reduce health disparities for black communities. This is achieved through public health education, including the dissemination of science-based information on disease prevention and vaccination to promote public safety and wellness. The organization conducts strategic outreach and community mobilization to increase access to healthcare resources. Furthermore, it engages in advocacy to address the underlying causes of health inequities, thereby working to lessen the burdens of government in protecting public health.
Cths: the purpose of this program is to build trust in health care, public health and science across all segments of our society by bringing together organizations together that span the entire health ecosystem to combat misinformation and teach the public how to collect fact based and trusted information in science and medicine.
