The organization's mission is: To revitalize and sustain St. Augustine African Orthodox Church as a neighborhood center for assembly, empowerment and outreach; to educate the community about the history of St. Augustine's African Orthodox Church and its cultural significance; to strengthen community within the Cambridgeport neighborhood in Cambridge, MA by providing programs focused on culture, arts, education, history and/or restorative justice; to provide a forum and location in which other community organizations can provide similar programs or engage in community outreach; and to conduct any other programs or means by which the organization can pursue the aforementioned purposes.
