During the Red-Tailed Hawks FLY program, we train young underrepresented youths to fly by providing a rich hands-on and engaging learning experience. Becoming a pilot is only one of many opportunities in aviation, and Red-Tailed Hawks FLY is more than just flight training. It is an aviation experience where cadets are grounded in aviation history and exposed to applicable Earth and space sciences. As they gain piloting skills, cadets increase their ability to practically apply their knowledge of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).
