The blackstone river valley national heritage corridor, inc (brvnhc)is a non-profit corporation organized to preserve and protect the cultural, historical and natural resources of the blackstone river valley in worcester county, massachusetts and providence county, rhode island. The brvnhc will work with governmental and non-govermental, non-profit and for-profit entities, and with residents of and visitors to, the corridor to tell the story of american industrialization as it began and evolved in the corridor, strengthen the infrastructure for education and interpretation, and establish a framework for stewardship and a network of stewards that preserves and protects resources, enhaves recreation and creates heritage-based opportunities for sustainable development and community recreation.
