Parents as teachers home visiting program (pat) is a free, voluntary, confidential services to expectant mothers and families with young children. This program is a long term, evidence-based, family visiting program, made to increase parent knowledge of early childhood development and improve practices. Healthy families america (hfa) is to build and maintain partnerships in communities that engage family and visiting, either prenatally or at birth. It is a long term family visiting program for expectant mothers or families with children under two weeks old.
