Mission

Bloc's mission is building relationships with our neighbors and sharing hope in brokenness. We do this through a variety of free activities and programs for youth and adults.

Programs

3 programs

Bloc offers two programs specifically to urban women who struggle to overcome drug addiction and to leave the sex trafficking trade. 1) weighless anchor day shelter for homeless women in price hill area who are still involved in drugs and prostritution/being trafficked. Goal: to offer practical support and resources for change. 2) redeemed residential homes for women in recovery. Goal: offer mentoring, practical support and life/job training to move them into a pathway of self-sufficiency. All programs are offered at no cost.

Expenses: $387K

Bloc offers programs and mentoring for urban students and families to foster holistic success in life. These include afterschool programs, arts, sports training, and residential program for teens (whose families are experiencing issues like homelessness or parental absence due to incarceration or illness), emergency food pantries and community meals, large neighborhood events like grill outs and seasonal festivals.
