Assisted the families of transplant patients with living expense assistance. Caring connections program offered support services to transplant patients to connect them with a survivor, family member, or donor.

Hosted the virtual celebrating a second chance at life survivorship symposium in may 2024 to educate blood & bone marrow transplant survivors and their families on medical treatments and lifestyle issues. Medical experts in their field donate their services as speakers and facilitators.

Special projects: 1-enhanced the online directory of mental health professionals who had experience working with stem cell transplant and/or cart-t therapy. The directory is searchable by experience level, age of patient, languages spoken and state. 2-expanded the online directory of transplant centers, searchable by disease, treatment and location. 3-expanded the number of virtual support groups that offer mental health counseling direct to patients and their caregivers. 4-continued offering a mental health training program specifically for the facilitators of the support groups.
