Literacy Connection is dedicated to transforming lives by cultivating literacy skills that promote social and economic success.

In fiscal year July 1, 2023-June 30, 2024, Literacy Connection served 134 students who participated in a total of 6,170 hours of instruction. Literacy Connection worked with 88 volunteers who contributed 6,994 hours of service. Each student participates in programs to improve their lives and sets individual goals tutors support them in accomplishing. Fifty-eight students achieved 165 goals ranging from improvements in oral and written communication, obtaining U.S. citizenship, and increased involvement in childrens education.
