Books From Birth

Books from Birth distributes books through three local Title I elementary schools in May, allowing students to select two titles to take home over the summer to help combat the reading loss that occurs when children have no access to books at home over the summer, for grades Pre-K3 through 6th.

Books from Birth partners with the Salvation Army's Angel Tree program to provide one new book to each of the low-income children they serve at Christmas, ages 0 - 6.

Additionally, we maintain a Little Free Library at two grocery stores in low-income areas and partner with local groups in an ad hoc manner for events to deliver free books to our target populations.
