BOOT provided funds to maintain a Period Attire Bank for State Park staff and volunteers, including purchasing period appropriate garments and accessories, clothing maintenance, and garment dry cleaning.
Although COVID-19 after effects have still impacted most events in the park for 2024 for which BOOT typically has a role, BOOT did provide funding for Cinco de Mayo crafting station, Fourth of July, Descendants of Early San Diego, Dia de Los Muertos, and Fiestas Patrias, as well as funding for the Interpretive and Educational programs which were conducted virtually. The unspent portion of a 2023 grant was paid back from SP Week.
