Programs
2 programs
Assist families unable to pay housing expenses, usually rent, as an unexpected event. We cannot assist with rent on a continuing or long term basis, however, each need is evaluated on a case by case basis. We were able to assist 45 families throughout the year to cover part of their rent expenses to avoid eviction. This problem worsens in the summer since many seasonal workers lose employment. $37,951 in assistance was provided during the year. This program is growing and we hope to receive adequate revenue to continue. All work is volunteer. There are no service expenses.
Assist families unable to pay for electricity, water, transportation, medical costs, educational costs, emergency repairs and other unexpected events. We do not provide assistance on a continuing or long-term basis, but to remedy immediate situations. Requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Requests for financial assistance increase during the summer when many seasonal workers lose employment. All requests are evaluated on an individual basis. We hope to receive adequate revenue to continue. All work is volunteer. There are no service expenses.
