Boston Bridges Initiative

The boston bridges initiative's (bbi) mission is to build meaningful relationships across race and geography by providing resources to, and sharing best practices with, students, teachers, parents, and programs committed to creating a more racially just and integrated society.bbi will partner with schools, parent organizations, and metco, inc. And the metco director's association in working to:1. Create opportunities for social interaction and relationship development outside the classroom2. Provide opportunities for parents and students to engage with and discuss issues of race and inclusion3. Support service projects, leadership workshops, and other programming expressly designed to build cross-racial relationships.
