Programs
2 programs
The elkhorn treatment facility makes up 40% of total program revenues for the period. This program maintains a women's treatment center/prison for those convicted of certain drug-related crimes, or suffering from co-occurring mental health and substance use disorder. It provides treatment for mental and physical problems related to addiction. It also provides counseling and assistance to help residents transition back into society.
The chemical dependency services begin with a thorough assessment of the problem to determine if the person is experiencing a substance use disorder and, if so, what steps can be taken to help. A treatment plan is developed that fits the person's needs and gives them the best chance to get well.
