Mission
BOSS Mentoring provides mentorship, academic enrichment, life skills training, and personal development opportunities to boys ages 818 in Camden, NJ. Through weekly workshops, cultural exposure, college readiness programming, and leadership activities, BOSS empowers young men to grow into successful, confident leaders.

In 2024, B.O.S.S. Mentoring operated its Cultural Exploration Travel Program, which provided a once-in-a-lifetime international travel experience to Thailand for a group of selected youth participants. The program aimed to expand cultural awareness, build global citizenship, and inspire leadership through immersive educational experiences abroad. Leading up to the trip, students attended mandatory sessions covering topics such as cultural sensitivity, international etiquette, financial literacy, global history, and basic Thai language and customs. While in Thailand, students engaged in hands-on learning experiences, including visiting historical temples, participating in service projects, touring local schools and villages, and engaging in guided conversations around global leadership and identity. This initiative not only deepened students understanding of the world beyond their neighborhoods, but also reinforced B.O.S.S. Mentorings core mission of developing confident, informed, and globally-minded young men prepared to become future leaders in their communities and beyond.
Our Parenting Community Village hosts monthly meetings for parents to gather and receive various forms of assistance. We offer a range of services such as support, resources, self-care, and empowerment workshops to help parents thrive. We often end each month with fun incentivized activities that boost empowerment and bonding with one another. We committed to creating a strong support system for families of all shapes and sizes. Thats why were dedicated to providing parents with the tools, resources, and support necessary to create a better relationship with their children as well as improve communication and conflict resolution skills. . We believe in taking an active approach that combines mentorship, education, encouragement, and fun to help families thrive.
