The Braddock Heights Community Associations primary exempt purpose is to encourage a sense of individual obligation to and pride in the Braddock Heights Community and to promote and improve the recreational, social and civic betterment of the community.
Programs
2 programs
The BHCA operates a youth swim team each pool season that is open to all BHCA members. During the summer of 2024, 139 children participated on the BHCA swim team that competed in Frederick County Summer Swim League. The swim team provides a place for children to exercise, develop their swimming skills, learn to participate in a team sport and develop a sense of community. Approximately 100 people volunteer to assist with running the swim team and its various activities.
