The courtney buffum financial assistance program - funded by the buffum family to help brain injury survivors access the equipment or items they need to reach their goals or help with relief. Some examples of asks have been light filtering blinds, specialty glasses, acupuncture, chiropractics and more. The program currently has a $2,000 year max as well as a $3,500 lifetime cap.
Tbi conference - an annual conference. In the 25 years since we have taken this responsibility over from the stae, we have not missed a single year. The conference sees roughly 100 to 200 participants, including brain injury survivors, caregivers, family, friends, and professionals. Everyone comes together to mingle, network, and learn together.
Neuro-resource facilitation (nrf) - a state funded program that offered case management like services to brain injury survivors who were ot receiving case management services elsewhere. This program ended in april 2024.
