Mission
The mission of the Brattleboro Literary Festival is to unite readers in the celebration of diverse ideas books and the power of words that will enhance the cultural vibrancy of Brattleboro and beyond. It was a celebration in 2023 featuring more than 60 authors both award-winning and emerging October 13-15 with books on the theme of The story of Us. Authors included Tracy Kidder Jonathan Rosen Will Schwalbe Kelly Link Andre Dubus III Jean Kwok Holly Black Ann Hood Martha McPhee Nikil Goyal and Chen Chen. All events were free and open to the public.
