To create a safe community space and provide legal, mental health, and holistic services to immigrant girls, ages 16-24, in new york.

Programs

3 programs

Leadership and educational support - we provide case management for education and employment. We partner with 250+ volunteers per year and host events on professional development and mentorship. We partner with local colleges and high schools to meet brave house participants that are immigrant students. We have a youth leadership board who meets monthly for leadership training modules and peer learning. We leverage our mobile app to share bilingual job opportunities and paid internships. We provide participants with help with school and english language support as well as training necessary to advance their careers.

Mental health advocacy - we provide individual mental health support to participants through in-house therapy and a network of pro bono partnerships. We assist participants in enrolling in health insurance and government benefits including wic and snap. We host wellness and self-care events from intimate group therapy to self-care events with wellness offerings such as meditation and yoga. We seek to cultivate a sense of community while empowering immigrant women to explore diverse ways of healing.
