The foundational mission of Breakloose is to facilitate the acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord among inmates, and to provide ongoing discipleship throughout their spiritual journey. We hold firm to the belief that our mandate, as inspired by Matthew 25, is effectively fulfilled through collaboration with local churches. This partnership is crucial both for supporting inmates during their incarceration and as they reintegrate into society post-release. The ultimate objective of our ministry is to significantly reduce the recidivism rate, ideally aiming for a scenario where none of the one in three individuals who currently return to prison do so. Our strategy involves a comprehensive transformation through the love of Jesus Christ, facilitated not only through spiritual guidance but also through practical, actionable programs. The goal is that each inmate we engage with emerges from incarceration fully equipped with the tools necessary for success in society.
