Breast Cancer Resource Center

Community education and outreach: bcrc conducts outreach through speaking engagements, coalition participation, presentations at conferences, published articles in respected journals and through social media and website interactions. Bcrc provides education to physicians and other health care professionals and to clients by webinar. Bcrc launched breast cancer university (bcu) in october 2024. Bcu is an online educational hub housing webinars and videos for anyone impacted by breast cancer.

Volunteer support: bcrcs volunteers are invaluable to achieving bcrcs mission. Volunteers provided support to bcrc for the annual art bra austin event in may 2024 and brunch in october 2024. In addition, throughout the year volunteers helped with various tasks such as being speakers at events, supporting cancer patients in infusion rooms, pillow stuffing, and representing bcrc at community events.
