We had 161 kids registered for our kids club summer camps in 2024. Our camps include offerings from stem and public safety to crafts. We also awarded over 40 scholarships for free camps to low income families within the 250th percentile of the federal poverty line.
In 2024, our senior speaker series hosted an average of 25 senior citiznes at each of our 24 presentationas. This weekly educational, historical and/or cutural programming is free to our local senior citizens and is open to the public.
A previously added addition at the rear of the building was transformed into a recreational teen space, designed by local high school students. The teen center is a dedicated space for middle school students to gather on days with no school or early dismissals. Rather than congregating in the unsupervised fields and structures prevalent in rural communities, students have the option to socialize in a teen-space, where adults and high school students can volunteer, monitor and provide resources without encroaching.
