Lighthouses - Lighthouses are homes we own within our neighborhood that are rented at a reduced rate to people committed to Bridge Builders mission. Lighthouses exist to a create consistent, caring presence within our neighborhood. They serve as anchor homes where residents build relationships, foster trust, and help strengthen the sense of community. Lighthouse residents focus on relationship-building and community development through neighborhood gatherings, connecting neighbors to resources and opportunities, supporting youth engagement, and helping with neighborhood cleanups, beautification, and outreach events. At the end of 2024, we had 2 active Lighthouses with plans to open another in 2025.
Serve Days - Bridge Builders brought volunteers into the neighborhood to serve our neighbors by doing landscaping and minor home repairs. We hosted 7 Serve Days in 2024.
Community Meetings - Bridge Builders hosts community meetings in order to support the community. We held 1 community meeting in 2024.
