Mission

To empower people to build on their god-given strengths and live life with purpose. To break the cycle of poverty by building thriving and sustainable neighborhoods in southeast fort wayne.

Programs

3 programs

Education and enrichment: we underwrite summer camps for neighborhood youth. Camps are led by city police and firemen. We also provide volunteers and staff for after-school tutoring for local students and other life skills education programs for young adults. Other programs we support include the building bridges program.

Expenses: $320K

Early childhood education: this initiative seeks to maximize the potential of children by ensuring their wellbeing and optimal development in the first three years of life. Development of the whole child includes cognitive, social, emotional, physical and spiritual development. This has a huge impact on children's success in kindergarten and beyond.

Expenses: $640K

Crime prevention. Volunteers serve to remove trash, create lighting, and assist residents in safeguarding their homes. Other program services 5: community health initiatives. In order to assist our community in the difficulties of the covid19 pandemic, we initiated a system of food distribution as well as provided access and education to those who depended on technology to look for employment and maintain contact with isolated loved ones.
