Bright path strong (bps) is a native american-led registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded to continue the legacy of akapamata (caregiver), a sac and fox name given to jim thorpe for the greatness he exhibited in community service on and off the field.

We are committed to the multi-pronged effort to reinstate native american athlete, jim thorpe, as sole champion in his events in the 1912 olympic games in stockholm, sweden. Petitioning and working with world government organizations and key individuals to further legitimize thorpe as the monumental figure in world history that places him rightfully in the pantheon of history's greatest heroes.
Our goal is to help bring clean drinking water solutions to native american communities in the u.s. We create fundraising campaigns and strategic partnerships for executing of viable strategic solutions for these native communities.
