Brighter Minds for Brighter Futures Foundation works with individuals with mental illness and mild intellectual or developmental disabilities to provide them a means and opportunity to interact in their communities and to connect with peers in a positive environment.

Participants adopted 8 families for Christmas and purchased gifts and necessities for the families.
Participants took part in planning, organizing, and operating a booth at a community festival where they sold beef jerky and baked goods. The proceeds from this project funded several outings for the participants, including art classes, ice cream outings, bowling, amusement parks and dining out.
