Additionally, bc2m acts as a portal to a broad coalition of organizations that provide services, screening, information, support and treatment of mental illness. Bc2m is normalizing the conversation around mental health to ensure that people feel supported and encouraged in their journey to wellness. Bc2m is saving lives.
Research - science and evidence-based action is essential to achieving bc2m's mission. Bc2m grounds its work in the latest research, evaluating it for effectiveness, then sharing it with confidence. An integral component of this is bc2m's scientific advisory council which is comprised of an acclaimed team of experts in the fields of mental illness stigma and discrimination. In 2024, bc2m partnered with the city college of new york (cuny) to conduct a research study investigating mental health anti-stigma for asian american and pacific islander (aapi) high school students. This successful pilot study will expand in 2025. (continued on sch o)public service announcements (psa) - in the past, bc2m has designed, developed and produced psas that are broadcast throughout the media. Since its establishment, bc2m 's psa campaigns have proven to be an effective outreach method and educational tool. Bc2m has continued to benefit from these valuable psas throughout our operation and did not incur additional costs in 2024.
