BNAPS promotes various group activities, including a youth program conducted by member volunteers, to afford members the opportunity to discuss and share similar interests. Each of the various groups exchange opinions, ask questions, and report its findings for all members to enjoy. The study groups continue to do excellent work. The breadth of the subjects covered and the quality of the research being accomplished by the groups is impressive. Several groups offer electronic distribution of their newsletters thereby reducing printing and mailing costs and providing increased use of color illustrations.

The British North America Philatelic Society LTD.'s (BNAPS) mission is to stimulate and foster public interest in the significance of stamps and postal history in the Americas. Its mission is accomplished by providing timely and interesting facts and history through periodic publications reflecting research undertaken by its members and others, group discussions and promoting an atmosphere of comradeship among its members, and interacting with other philatelic groups and the general public.
