Our mission is to unite vocal musicians who share the joy of learning and performing diverse repertoire. Our innovative programming is designed to engage and inspire performers and audience members alike. We are committed to forming artistic collaborations within greater Boston.
Programs
3 programs
Official Chorale for Boston Pops Holiday Pops Tour. December 2023. The Chorale once again joins Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops on their Holiday Concert tour. 8 total concerts. Approximately 2,500 audience members in attendance per concert.
March and May programs 2024. March 9th and 10th concerts were a collaboration with a local orchestra, Brookline Symphony, performing Felix Mendelssohn's Psalm 42 and Benjamin Britten's The Company of Heaven. March 9 + 10, 2024 Heaven is Here Felix Mendelssohn: Psalm 42 Benjamin Britten: The Company of Heaven. May 17th concert, titled "The Range of Light" celebrated 20 years under our current choir directors leadership, around the theme of nature and Yosemite National Park. Featured a world premiere of Eriks Esenvalds: Yosemite, along with works by Francisco Nunez, Jake Runestad, and the Swingles.
Expenses related to additional outside program services provided by Metropolitan chorale, including performance at a social club relating to arts. Also includes amounts paid to chorale contractors for rehearsal cycle and regular rehearsal expenses.
