Fostering Brother Wolf Animal Rescues robust fostering program, which consisted of 234 active volunteer foster homes in 2024, enables the organization to increase its lifesaving capacity by caring for a large number of animals in a home setting. About 70% of animals in Brother Wolfs care in 2024 spent time in a foster home. Brother Wolfs trained foster parents enable the organization to take on special cases (very young kittens and puppies, pregnant, sick, elderly, terminally ill, heartworm positive, fearful animals, etc.) and provide them expert care. In 2024, Brother Wolf facilitated 1,162 foster home placements. Due to Hurricane Helenes devastating impacts, Brother Wolfs foster program was paused from October 2024 through late December 2024 when it then resumed.

Low-Cost Spay-Neuter Mobile Clinic Overcrowded shelters exist throughout North Carolina. To address the root of the problem of animal overpopulation, Brother Wolf Animal Rescues mobile spay-neuter clinic offers high-quality, low-cost spay/neuter services. In 2024, Brother Wolfs spay- neuter clinic performed 1,752 spay-neuter surgeries, and administered 595 low-cost or free vaccinations and 245 pet microchips. One of the devastating impacts of Hurricane Helene was the loss of Brother Wolfs mobile surgery unit, which was completely engulfed by floodwaters in fall 2024.
