Faculty/administrator safety training and emergency response - faster saves lives: we provide and facilitate training for school staff to properly respond to and reduce damages during active killer/active shooter events. We contract with other experts to provide training and guidance. Training includes mindset, shooting, and trauma care of the injured. It includes "force on force- or scenario based training and concludes with passing the same qualification course required by all ohio law enforcement, but to a much higher standard. These classes are appropriate for school staff and law enforcement.
Provided a 2-day youth shoot event for under 18 year old youths to learn about firearms safety and marksmanship. Also hosted the buckeye blast fun shoot. Provided other 1-day training classes for beginners to advanced shooters for basic tactical training, idpa-style scenario shoots, and learning fundamentals of reactive shooting. The events also provided introductions to handgun and skeet activities for more experienced attendees. The foundation also provided multiple organizational grants to help facilitate local youth and family shooting events.
