Our mission is to provide resources, answers and support to people with blindness or other visual impairment which will maximize their ability to meet life's daily challenges and realize their continued self-worth and value to our community.

Second look newtown thrift shop - the organization operates a thrift store that supports client services with funds generated through sales of donated items. For the current year, donations yielded 414,005 in gross sales. The in-store client training program offers members the opportunity to develop skills that prepare them for future work or volunteer opportunities in the community.
Transportation services - the organization provides transportation services to blind and visually impaired clients accessing facility based programs, low vision clinics, community based medical appointments, and activities of daily living that encourage independent living. For the fiscal year ending june 30, 2025 the organization provided 1,034 transporation trips.
