Building Hope In The City

Mission and ministry programs that serve immigrants and refugees. These activities served more than 3,000 individuals through programs including english classes, mentoring, workforce development, employment, care groups, citizenship preparation groups, immigration services, and the expansion of christian immigrant faith communities.

Mission and ministry efforts focused on building capacity for urban christian congregations and community development in under-resourced neighborhoods. These activities include providing affordable housing to 30+ people, community organizing efforts that engaged 550 low-income neighbors, youth educational and literacy programs, and coaching city churches and pastors in community engagement and leadership. As a result, 300 volunteers were deployed, more than 225 local citizens were trained.

Reconstructing lives and transforming neighborhoods through a network of spiritual and vocational support, based on jesus' call to stewardship, love for thy neighbor, and the transforming power of the community.
