The Burn Institute is a non-profit health agency dedicated to reducing burn injuries and deaths through fire and burn prevention education, burn survivor support programs and funding of burn care research and treatment.

Burn Patient Support - Patient support burn survivor support services include Camp Beyond the Scars for burn-injured children, a retreat for adult burn survivors, a family retreat for burn survivors and their immediate family, scholarship opportunities for adult burn survivors to attend World Burn Congress and teenagers to attend a young adult retreat, emergency housing and transportation for burn survivors and their families for burn care treatment and follow-up clinical visits, and other medical therapies not covered by insurance.
