Organization's Primary Exempt Purpose: Business for a Better Portland makes a positive difference in the city we love by combining the strength of business advocacy with the power of technology and grassroots social change. Our goal is to insure Portland is anequitable city where prosperity can be shared by all.Program Service Accomplishments: By forging collaborative relationships between the business community, non-profit organiztions, and government, Business for a Better Portland (BBPDX) advocates for a Portland that is equitable and prosperous for all. BBPDX provides a platform for businesses in Portland, Oregon, to become educated on and discuss social and policy problems impacting their businesses, such as homelessness, transportation, and housing. Businesses affiliated with BBPDX believe that by engaging on social issues they will improve quality of life for Portlanders, which will in turn provide a stronger customer base for their businesses.
