The business-government relations council, founded in 1966, is a non-profit organization established under the laws of the district of columbia. Its stated purpose is to improve business understanding of governmental policies, methods, and operations, and to increase the governmental awareness of the role of business in national affairs. It seeks to strengthen the professional quality of business representation to all branches of the federal government.
