To maintain law and order, to foster and perpetuate a spirit of good fellowship and fraternalism among its members, to promote a feeling of mutual goodwill between the county of butte and their surrounding communities and the rekindling of that pioneer law-abiding spirit of our forefathers and their love of fine horse flesh.

The organization received general donations from the public. This allowed the organization to assist many camp fire victims. Many of these victims were local public service employees. The opportunity to have provided assistance to these employees allowed them to be more effective in their community roles.
A program for functitional fitness was added for the public service employees. This program allows the staff the physical and mental support they need to perform their duties in a safe manner. It provides the necessary emotional support to relieve the stresses of being in public safety.
