Mission
The objectives of the Buxton Hollis Rod and Gun Club are community oriented, educational, and scientific for the promotion, propagation and conservation of fish and wildlife. Promoting sports, fishing and hunting. 2For the year 2021: We have conducted at least three training classes for Range Safety Officers. Approximately 15 students completed this training. We provided at least 12 events where personal that were trained as Range Safety Officers to implement their training under supervision. We provided Archery classes for both Your and Adults. Approximately 40 individuals participated in this training. We promoted at least 15 sanctioned events (National Rifle Association, American Rimfire Association, IDPA and others. We have maintained our outdoor facilities and promoted activities to protect the environment by the prevention of pollution in the towns and State of Maine. Our members have promoted and enforced the fish and wildlife laws of the State in all our activities.
