CARE provides several community education events including the Prevent and Protect Program at SMU. It also partnered with the Dallas Police Program to provide information on drug prevention to youth.

CARE assists local schools with Red Ribbon Week to educate students about the dangers of alcohol and drug use. CARE also provides DARE workbooks to schools.
