The organization provides comprehensive assessment, referral and educational services for substance abuse, mental health, or other personal problems to rhode island schools and communities and the nationwide work force.

Employee assistance program (eap) service fund: contracts with private sector clients to provide intake assessment and referral services to employees experiencing difficulties with substance abuse and personal matters. Support for employers with training and critical incident response.
Regional community prevention coalitions: contracts with department of behavioral healthcare, developmental disabilities and hospitals to implement evidence based interventions in communities, in partnership with local prevention coalitions, to prevent and reduce the use of substances among youth and to support positive mental health strategies.
