The goal is to define and deliver a gold standard of service and experience across the industry and beyond.
The barco library remains the world's largest and most comprehensive collection of materials exclusively focused on the cable and connectivity industry. Our ongoing efforts continue to preserve, expand, and make accessible this unparalleled resource for professionals, researchers, and historians alike. The collection supports a wide range of projects-from documentaries and academic research to media productions and publications. Holdings include audio and video recordings capturing the voices and stories of the industry's most influential leaders; books and trade periodicals specific to the cable and connectivity industry; artifacts and equipment showcasing the evolution of cable technology; archival collections featuring correspondence, blueprints, and documentation from over 120 notable industry figures; photographic archives, including prints, negatives, slides, and digital images that visually chronicle the industry's growth; commemorative materials highlighting key people, organizations, and events; and training and promotional videos, along with programming from across the cable and connectivity industry's history. As a vital resource housed at the cable center, the barco library plays an essential role in documenting and preserving the legacy and future of connectivity.
