Cal voices provides peer support services fostering wellness and recovery for everyone through advocacy education and culturally relevant research.

Children System of Care is a program funded by the County of Placer for the support of family members and caretakers of youth and children with mental health issues. Our Family and Friends Coordinators provide education and training throughout Placer County, and are available to speak about youth and children mental health topics at various events. We provide services in English, Hmong and Spanish. MediCal Peer Support Specialistalso serve on the mobile crisis team in Placer County providing resources, and peer support to participants.
The Community Support Team CST provides community-based flexible services to community members experiencing mental health distress, which can include assessment, crisis intervention, safety planning, and linkage to ongoing services and supports. The CST is a collaboration between Behavioral Health Services BHS licensed mental health counselors and Cal Voices Peer Support Specialists, creating one team with a variety of clinical and outreach skills.
