Calico's mission is to achieve justice and healing for abused children. Calico provides a supportive and neutral enviroment to interview children and facilitate a collaborative response to child abuse allegations where the needs of the child take precedence. Calico is committed to expanding the coordination of services in california so that every child victim ofabuse, neglect, and molestation has access to a professional child advocacy center.

Cacc also serves as a statewide resource for professional development, resource development, best practices, training, and children advocacy. Cal,ico has provided grants and support to over 20 organizations in califronia under the guidance of the national children's alliance.
