Mission
Ccca was formed as way for the dungeness crab industry to work together to protect and preserve the california dungeness crab fishery for the continued economic survival of the west coast commercial fishing fleet and our coastal communities. Ccca is made up of commercial crab fishermen and crab buyers formed to be a strong, unified voice for policy development and science-based fishery management with the goal of sustaining commercial fishing dependent coastal communities. Ccca seeks to ensure that california dungeness crab remains one of the most robust, sustainable fisheries in the world.
